His mercies are new every morning.
“Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed, for His compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness” Lamentations 3:22-23
There is something deeply comforting about the morning light. No matter how heavy yesterday felt, the sunrise quietly declares that God’s mercy has not run out.
God does not ration His mercy. He does not grow tired of extending compassion. Each morning brings a fresh supply–not leftovers from yesterday, but brand new grace for today’s needs.
Maybe yesterday held mistakes. Maybe it carried worry, regret, or exhaustion. Still, when the sun rises, God’s mercy rises with it.
His compassion never fails.
His faithfulness never wavers.
His mercy meets you again–this very morning.
Whatever today holds, you are not walking into it empty-handed. You are walking into it covered in fresh mercy.
And that is reason enough to begin again.
