A Prayer for New Beginnings
Spring quietly reminds us that God is in the business of renewal. What looked barren begins to bloom. What seemed lifeless awakens again. The earth softens, light returns, and creation whispers, begin again.
Our hearts need that same renewal.
In Psalms 51:10, David prayers,
“Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me.” (NKJV)
He doesn’t ask God to simply improve his heart–he asks Him to create a clean one. Only God can do that. Only He can wash away what weighs us down and restore a steady, faithful spirit within us.
Spring is an invitation to pray the same prayer.
Lord, create. Lord, renew. Lord, steady my heart.
Just as He brings new life to the earth, He can bring fresh beginnings to you.
